TRUE WISDOM

*Coins in the hand
Can be stolen,
But who can rob this body
Of its own treasure?

The last thread of clothing
Can be stripped away,
But who can peel off emptiness,
That nakedness covering all?

Fools, while I dress
In the jasmine lord’s morning light,
I can not be ashamed-
What would you have me hide under silk
And the glitter of jewels?

-Akka mahadevi.

**Death is a dialogue between
The spirit and the dust.
“Dissolve”, says death.the spirit, “sir,
I have another trust”.

Death doubts it, argues from the ground.
The spirit turns away,
Just laying off, for evidence,
An overcoat of clay.

-Emily Dickinson

These two above were written by two women mystical-poets. One is from the East (India) and another one from the West, in different periods of time. But, when it comes to the ultimate truth, time and space doesn’t matter. Both of them are almost alike in their vision.

*Money can be robbed, the body can be clothed and it could be stripped away and what is left alone is your own emptiness, all dress, jewels, what ever you may cover on you, but what is left underneath is your own-self or your true-self? And how will you cover it with what? There is no way to cover one’s spirit.
**Death is nothing but the dialogue between your own inner-self, that is your spirit, the spirit is covered with so many layers of conditioning, the dust collects and cover the spirit, but what ever they may cover, what is left underneath is the spirit. Is the spirit, which cannot be covered, it will remain ever and exist as it is forever.

The power, the money all will go away when you leave your body.what remains ever with you is the soul and the truth or knowledge .it will be yours ever, birth after death. The true wisdom one can ever own is the self-truth or the self-knowledge.everthing else will be fragile at any moment.

See the Past,in the whole of Human Race, How many came and left ?. Think of the kings who were rulled, Just recall their power and wealth. where are they ?, where it is gone ? They all Gone to the same Dust.Think deeply just before ,while you about to use your power and accumulate things which is unnecessary.Have Less and Give More.Soon or Later you will find your True Meaning when you are here in this Earth.

ALL ABOUT LIFE IN FEW SENTENCES

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS,
which he got due to the infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.
From the world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:
"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?
To this question Arthur Ashe replied : -
The world over -- 5 crore children start playing tennis,
50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis,
50,000 come to the circuit, 500 reach the grand slam,
50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals,
When I was holding a cup ,I never asked GOD "Why me?".
And today in pain, I should not be asking GOD "Why me?

"Happiness keeps u Sweet, Trials keep u Strong,
Sorrow keeps u Human, Failure Keeps u Humble,
Success keeps u Glowing, But only God Keeps u Going.....Keep Going............
i have to mention a quote,at this juncture.
This quote is from the rich poem of the great master 'Omar Khayam '.
"In cell and cloister, in monastery and synagogue,
Some fear hell and others dream of Paradise.
But no man who really knows the secrets of his
God has planted seeds like this, within his heart" .

if you want to know more about him just log into his official website:-
I have tried to keep on with my
striving because this is the only
hope I have of ever achieving
anything worthwhile and lasting.”

Empathy

THIS STORY CAN EITHER TOUCH YOUR HEART or NOT...

"The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her five year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and then said, 'This is for you, Mummy. 'The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner, 'Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package ? ' She had tears in her eyes and said, 'Oh, Mummy, it's not empty ! I blew kisses into it until it was full. 'The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later, and it is told that the mother kept that gold box by her bed for all the years of her life. Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems, she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a Golden box filled with un-conditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and GOD. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

So ,Let us realise this right now, from this moment and we should not miss anyone's love,or the potential godliness ,which is abundant around us all the time.

"TWO TALES"

HERE ,THERE ARE TWO STORIES FOR YOU TO READ.AFTER READING THEM LET ME KNOW HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT ? YOU ARE WELCOME TO MAIL ME YOUR NARRATION/FEEDBACK .

STOREY NUMBER ONE
Many years ago, A-l Capone virtually owned Chicago. Capone wasn't famous for anything heroic. He was notorious for enmeshing the windy city in everything from boot-legged booze and prostitution to murder.

Capone had a lawyer nicknamed "Easy Eddie." He was his lawyer for a good reason. Eddie was very good! In fact, Eddie's skill at legal maneuvering kept Big A-l out of jail for a long time. To show his appreciation, Capone paid him very well. Not only was the money big, but also Eddie got specialdividends. For instance, he and his family occupied a fenced-in mansion with live-in help and all of the conveniences of the day.

The estate was so large that it filled an entire Chicago City block. Eddie lived the high life of the Chicago mob and gave little consideration to the atrocity that went on around him. Eddie did have one soft spot, however. He had a son that he loved dearly. Eddie saw to it that his young son had the best of everything: clothes, cars and a good education. Nothing was with held. Price was no object. And, despite his involvement with organized crime, Eddie even tried to teach him right from wrong.

Eddie wanted his son to be a better man than he was.Yet, with all his wealth and influence, there were two things he couldn't give his son; he couldn't pass on a good name and a good example.

One day, Easy Eddie reached a difficult decision. Easy Eddie wanted torectify wrongs he had done. He decided he would go to the authorities and tell the truth about A-l "Scar face" Capone, clean up his tarnished name and offer his son some semblance of integrity.

To do this, he would have to testify against The Mob, and he knew that the cost would be great. So, he testified. Within the year, Easy Eddie's life ended in a blaze of gunfire on a lonely Chicago Street. But in his eyes, he had given his son the greatest gift he had to offer, at the greatest price he would ever pay. Police removed from his pockets a rosary, a crucifix, a religious medallion and a poem clipped from a magazine.

The poem read: The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power, to tell just when the hands will stop at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time, for the clock may soon be still.

STOREY NUMBER TWO
World War II produced many heroes . One such man was Lieutenant Commander 'Butch O'Hare'. He was a fighter pilot assigned to the aircraft carrier Lexington in the South Pacific. One day his entire squadron was sent on a mission. After he was airborne, he looked at his fuel gauge and realized that someone had forgotten to top off his fuel tank. He would not have enough fuel to complete his mission and get back to his ship. His flight leader told him to return to the carrier.

Reluctantly, he dropped out of formation and headed back to the fleet. As he was returning to the mother ship he saw something that turned his blood cold, a squadron of Japanese aircraft were speeding their way toward the American fleet The American fighters were gone on a sortie, and the fleet was all but defenseless He couldn't reach his squadron and bring them back in time to save the fleet. Nor could he warn the fleet of the approaching danger.

There was only one thing to do. He must some how divert them from the fleet. Laying aside all thoughts of personal safety, he dove into the formation of Japanese planes. Wing-mounted 50 caliber’s blazed as he charged in, attacking one surprised enemy plane and then another. Butch wove in and out of the now broken formation and fired at as many planes as possible until all his ammunition was finally spent. Undaunted, he continued the assault.

He dove at the planes, trying to clip a wing or tail in hopes of damaging as many enemy planes as possible and rendering them unfit to fly. Finally, the exasperated Japanese squadron took off in another direction. Deeply relieved, Butch O'Hare and his tattered fighter limped back to the carrier. Upon arrival he reported in and related the event surrounding His return.

The film from the gun-camera mounted on his plane told the tale. It showed the extent of Butch's daring attempt to protect his fleet He had infact destroyed five enemy aircraft. This took place on February 20, 1942, and for that action Butch became the Navy's first Ace of W.W.II, and the first naval aviator to win the Congressional Medal of Honor. A year later Butch was killed in aerial combat at the age of 29. His home town would not allow the memory of this WW II hero to fade, and today, O'Hare Airport in Chicago is named in tribute to the courage of this great man.So the next time you find yourself at O'Hare International, give somet hought to visiting Butch's memorial displaying his statue and his Medal ofHonor. It's located between Terminals 1 and 2. SO, WHAT DO THESE TWO STORIES HAVE TO DO WITH EACH OTHER? Butch O'Hare was Easy Eddie's son!.

BE ORDINARY AND THINK SIMPLE

WE ALWAYS TRY OR APPLY OUR ACCUMULATED KNOWLEDGE EVERY WHERE.
WE MUST KNOW THE APPLICATION.WHERE TO AND WHERE NOT TO ?
KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL BUT SEE THAT,LET IT NOT COMPLICATE OUR LIFE.
LET US ALSO UN-LEARN.UNLEARNING IS AS IMPORTANT AS LEARNING.

BEING ORDINARY AND SIMPLE IS VERY GREAT AND BY DOING SO,ONE CAN REJOICE ONE'S LIFE IN A BETTER WAY.

I JUST RECALL, TWO THINGS HERE TO EMPHASIZING THESE ABOVE POINTS

1.WARREN BUFFET LIFE. WHO DONATED 31 BILLIONS TO CHARITY.
(MAIL ME FOR THE POWER POINT PRESENTATION)

2. WHEN USA LAUNCHED A MISSION IN THE SPACE.THERE IN THE SPACE THEIR PEN DID NOT WRITE BECAUSE OF THE 'ZERO GRAVITY'. SO THEY SPEND $12 MILLIONS AND 10 YEARS TIME TO FIND A PEN THAT WOULD WRITE IN ZERO GRAVITY.

AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT RUSSIAN SCIENTIST DID?
THEY HAVE USED ORDINARY PENCIL.
(MORAL:- LIFE IS VERY SIMPLE. DO NOT COMPLICATE IT,USE SIMPLE IDEAS.)

EACH ONE AMOUNG US IS UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN WAY

The Cracked Pot

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walk from the stream (a water flow) to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half-full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half-pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day, by the side of the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."
"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."
Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws weeach have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. So, to all of my crack pot family and friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!
so, accept your family member, friend and anybody in that case as it is,what they are.

wise shepherd

Once upon a time there was a shepherd looking after his sheep on theside of a deserted road. Suddenly a brand new Porsche screeches to a halt.

The driver, a man dressed in an Armani suit, Cerutti shoes, Ray-Bansunglasses, TAG-Heuer wrist-watch, and a Pierre Cardin tie, gets outand asks the Shepherd: If I can tell you how many sheep you have, will you give me one of them ?

"The shepherd looks at the young man, and then looks at the large flockof grazing sheep and replies: "Okay."

The young man parks the car, connects his laptop to the mobile-fax,enters a NASA Webster, scans the Ground using his GPS, opens a
database and 60 Excel tables filled with logarithms and pivot tables,
then prints out a 150 page report on his high-tech mini-printer.

He turns to the shepherd and says, "You have exactly 1,586 sheep here."

The shepherd cheers,"that's correct, you can have your sheep."

The young man makes his pick and puts it in the back of his Porsche.

The shepherd looks at him and asks:
"If I guess your profession, will you return my animal to me?
"The young man answers, "Yes, why not".
The shepherd says, "You are an IT consultant ".
How did you know?" asks the young man.

"Very simple," answers the shepherd.
"First, you came here without being called.
Second, you charged me a fee to tell me something which I already knew,
and third, you don't understand anything about my business...
Now can I have my sheep back?"

CRY WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE..

"There was a study done where a control group of 100 people were divided into two."

50 people watched very funny, tears-of laughter type movie. 50 watched a very sad and tears of compassion type movie.

At the end of the sessions researchers collected the "happy tears" and the sad tears" with eye droppers.

They found that "happy tears" are made up of brine... salt water and not a great deal else.

However the "sad tears" were found to contain the very same chemicals and enzymes that are found in tumors, ulcers and other such lumps and bumps and sicknesses through out the body.

This test concluded that the body, when crying in sadness etc is literally flushing out all of the toxic-chemicals that accumulate and are a part of the sadness /heart ache experience.

Therefore if one holds back those tears, those toxic-waters will find somewhere else to deposit themselves.. . and prolonged lack-of-crying- release will guarantee that the body will accumulate a huge amount of internal pollution and toxicity that should have been released through the tears.... is it any wonder that the eyes sting so much when we hold back our tears ?

NO WONDER MEN DIE EARLIER THAN WOMAN. MEN HOLD ON TO THEIR PRIDE WHICH LEAD THEM TO EARLY DEATH!!!!

LESSON FROM THE STUDY: CRY YOUR HEART OUT WHEN YOU ARE SAD, LONELY, ALONE, DEPRESSED, ETC..... IT IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH!

THOUGHT POWER

only receive what you truly expect

Many people today live their entire lives on the basis of "seeing is believing." That is to say, the only images they get emotionally involved with are the ones they can discern with their physical senses. But the individuals of real "vision," down through the ages, have always known the overriding principle is, "what you see is what you get."

Expressed somewhat differently, what this means is that the images in people's minds, actually precede the concrete images, which pervade our material world. Therefore, you should be aware of the fact that the fascinating physical world we see before us, with all of its conveniences for making our lives more comfortable, has been built largely by image-makers - men and women of vision who knew what they could do, and EXPECTED everything else to "fall into place," regardless of what their critics might say to the contrary.

Remember, you will only receive what you truly expect, not what you only wish for. - Bob Proctor

Embrace all equally

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.
Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They satThere all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, " I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied! "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, " You know, he's much younger than I expected.
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime!
Embrace all equally...
